ABOUT V4x

V4x Interactive Factory allows marketers to engage their audience in conversations anywhere and anytime by leveraging the impact of video content without having to deal with technical issues.

Our solution includes:

  • « Front-office » modules such as interactive widgets or apps that present interactivity to consumers and collect their inputs, be it on desktops, smartphones, tablets or TV sets.
  • « Middle-office » management console accessible online, which facilitates the production and publishing of interactivity associated with video content via simple-to-use authoring tools, each taking care of a particular task: publishing, live control, moderation, analytics…
  • « Back-office » delivery platform, which controls and feeds interactive apps with data and collects information. Leveraging from our cloud computing infrastructure, our platform can serve apps with very large audiences of tens to hundreds of thousand concurrent users.

White-label “SocialTV apps” VideoLive, VideoQuiz, VideoBoutique and VideoRanking simplify the production of interactive modules and deliver them in sync with video, live or on-demand.
No software development is required: These turnkey apps can be branded and published in minutes on web, facebook, iPhone, iPad and connected TVs.

V4x customers can then unleash the power of social networks to increase audience, generate qualified leads and drive overall brand exposure by turning video consumers into brand ambassadors.

Customers include advertising groups Publicis, Omnicom and Creston, media companies NBC, Antena3, BFM-TV, M6 WEB, Public Sénat and Television Suisse Romande, entertainment conglomerate 888 and mobile operators Orange and Mobistar.

V4x was rewarded in the 2006 French nation-wide contest funding the creation of innovative technology companies. The company is supported by the Aquitaine region in France, and the UNITEC Bordeaux Technopole.
V4x received a ‘Superior Technology’ award from TV Technology at the 2007 National Association of Broadcasters annual convention in Las Vegas, was selected in 2008 Orange-FT Start-Up Programme and got a Gold Medal at the LeMobile 2.0 2009 conference.

V4x has contributed to numerous R&D projects, especially in the field of interactive services on Mobile TV (DVb-H/ATSC-MH, OMA-BCAST/OMA-RME/BIFS) and on Connected TVs (HbbTV).
