3. App Designer
V4x App Designer enables to combine various OnAir Widgets, customize branding and style, and devliver a custom App for Flash or the iPhone, and soon for other rich media engines and platforms.
V4x Sequencer
V4x Sequencer allows producers to build interactive sequences of clips, graphics and interactive scenes by dragging video clips and flash animations into a timeline. Applying pre-defined wizards with quizzes, polls, votes, and other interactive widgets. Making a program loop (or “wheel”) can be done in a snap, mixing live feeds and pre-recorded clips, and programming schedules for multiple channels days or weeks in advance.
V4x Director is the main panel for live, cueing and switching from multiple video feeds, and adding graphics and interactivity that is presented to the viewers. With just one click, producers can enhance live program with graphics overlays or interactive animations by applying pre-defined wizards, and trigger chats, quizzes, polls and votes.
V4x Moderation Dashboard enables producers to spread the discussion to drive new traffic.
Editorial Moderation. Producers run the show by using several identities, automatically sending comments or links to content to direct viewers to new material.
Safeguard Filtering. The moderation panel acts as a safeguard against inappropriate content, with auto-filtering of offensive comments by keyword, email and IP addresses.
Real-time Reporting. Viewers’ behavior is tracked in real-time through measurement of clicks, computation of votes, analytics and reports.
Advanced skinning and Easy Third-party Integration, the V4x App Designer allows to define new custom apps by coombining and styling V4x OnAir Widgets without any software programming.
V4x OnAir Widgets are components that are embedded in the device player application to provide certain interactive/rich functionality for the viewer. Video is usually delivered by CDNs, V4x adding only the interactive “layer”. Each Widget component is a visual building block facilitating a specific viewer interaction: ad overlays with in-video cue points, “One click” Flash sponsorships pre-rolls to video clips, quiz-polls relating to the current program, SMS and “Download to Mobile” scenarios, and more.
A CSS type description file defines the unique branding, skins, colors, transparencies, positioning, sizing, and display transitions.
Widgets are assembled in an app that can be embedded in any Web outlet, Facebook or iPhone, or as plug-ins into third-party video players or third-party apps.
Authoring and control of widgets is performed through V4x Authoring Tools, and they are connected with V4x Delivery Platform backend, service connectors, moderation tools and analytics.
